Photo of the RBI Hawk Scroll saw with wheelchair accessible legs. This is one of the FEW companies to think about access to their tools for people who use a wheelchair. They have created a special kit with wide legs, so the chair fits under the saw. You can get any model of their saws, and use these legs. Now this company is thinking!! The Scroll Saw is one of the tools I have mastered, and I enjoy using. It is a very easy machine to use and control with a little bit of practice. If you look at a craft show, about 75% of the wood items, or more, are cut out using a scroll saw. Even a $99 bench-top one can get you started. Of course, you will want to go bigger very soon after getting good on the small unit. With a scroll saw, and few other tools, you are set to make some nice gifts for everyone, or start a business and go to the craft shows and sell your work! I did, and made some money at it. I did not make a fortune, but I made some extra money and had a lot of fun at it too. You can visit the RBI site here! |
