A nice close up working the wood back towards the tailstock (non motor end) and using the left handed method. Note the grip, tightly held against the tool rest, that is critical. Letting up on the tool rest will cause all types of problems, so you have to always keep tight on the tool rest. Here I am Using the gouge to continue to reduce the wood size for final turning. |
